Large windows, wall lights and long uninterrupted surfaces can emphasise edge details. Share overview photos and your intended lighting plan. The contractor can then discuss the condition of the surfaces, the required preparation and the finish expectations before work is priced.
Define more than the corner line
A conversion may involve removing old cornices and repairing the adjacent wall and ceiling. New work may include window reveals, bulkheads or returns that need consistent finishing. Ask how those areas are included and where the scope stops at nearby existing surfaces.
Agree the painter handover
